Maj. Josh Gonzales is an Instructor for the United States Space Force’s Intermediate Level Education at Johns Hopkins University - School of Advanced International Studies. The program is part of Space Training and Readiness Command, Space Delta 13, Detachment 3. Space Delta 13’s mission is to educate and develop Guardian leaders in support of the National Defense Strategy who are prepared to dominate the space domain in today’s complex global environment.
Major Gonzales graduated from the Schriever Space Scholars program at Air Command and Staff College. Prior to his current position, Major Gonzales was the Assistant Program Manager for Warfighter Integration at the Narrowband SATCOM Acquisition Delta, Space Systems Command where he served as the single military focal point responsible for MUOS end-to-end integration of satellites, ground stations, and tactical radio terminals, and coordinating those efforts across joint military and government agencies.
Major Gonzales has also served as the Deputy Space and STO Chief at the 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, KY. While at Fort Campbell, he deployed to Afghanistan as the US Forces - Afghanistan Deputy Space and STO Chief and deployed to Qatar to work in the Director of Space Forces Staff at the Combined Air and Space Operations Center.
