About

Liu Houjun earned his M.A. from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany in 1982.  He currently serves as a Deputy Dean, Professor, and Doctoral Advisor in Nanjing University’s School of Economics.  Professor Liu has been a visiting scholar at Missouri-Columbia University (1986) and the University of Liverpool in Britain (1995).  He is also the recipient of many distinguished teaching awards, including National Famous Teacher in Higher Education (2009), BaoSteel Co. Ltd. National Superior Teacher (2007), and National Superior Doctoral Thesis Advisor (2006).  Professor Liu’s research interests include international economic theory and practical issues, world economics, western economics, and international economic relations.
