Professor Vesselinov has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has been teaching at the Johns Hopkins University since 2020, including Big Data Analytics (Data Mining with R and Python), Business Statistics, Macroeconometrics (Time-Series Analysis), and Macroeconomic Forecasting. Dr. Vesselinov’s most recent areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence (AI) analysis, Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) for image analysis and text mining to enhance the performance of prediction models. Dr. Vesselinov holds PhD in Statistics and Econometrics from University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria.
