Degnan Kambou is a global development expert with leadership experience directing gender equity and social justice initiatives in Africa, South Asia, the UK and Europe. Demonstrated expertise includes: business innovation, nonprofit M&A, revenue stream diversification, DEI/B and cultural change management, financial management, and board relations. She serves as senior advisor to federal governments, corporations, multilateral agencies and non-governmental organizations.
In 2012, President Obama appointed Degnan Kambou to the President’s Global Development Council. Also in 2012, former President Clinton tapped her to serve as an Advisor to the Clinton Global Initiative. In 2010, United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appointed Degnan Kambou to the U.S. Commission to UNESCO.
