Changzheng Zhou

About

Zhou Changzheng earned his Ph.D. in Labor Law from Peking University in 2001.  He currently serves as an Associate Professor in Nanjing University’s School of Law.  In 2004, he was a visiting scholar at the Norwegian Center for Human Rights at Oslo University in Norway.  Professor Zhou’s research interests include economic law, labor law, and social security law.  His research on Chinese labor issues, including worker’s rights, labor standards, and the difficulty of invoking labor laws in enterprises that receive foreign investment, has taken him inside factories and workshops to interview workers and help assess potential options for legal recourse.
