The conference, hosted by SAIS Global Women in Leadership, explored how women are changing the landscape of global health. Leaders in the field talked about how they are pioneering innovative technologies to tackle health inequities and examined how creative policy, advocacy, and business strategies are promoting women’s health and empowerment. 

Asian Economic Outlook and the Roles of the Asian Development Bank

President Nakao will discuss the economic situations and outlook for Asia, as well as the policy challenges of Asian developing countries. The lecture will include the roles of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in promoting development, the reform efforts to fulfill its roles such as strengthening financing capacity, and the cooperation with AIIB and other partners.

It opened with a keynote address by the Former Chairman of China’s Banking Regulatory Commission, followed by two panels of senior China experts from the public and private sector.
