SAIS and Search for Common Ground Hosted Forum on Elections in Post-Conflict Africa on July 10

Steven McDonald, consulting director of the Africa Program and Project on Leadership and Building State Capacity at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars; Laura Grace, program manager on the Election and Political Processes team at the National Democratic Institute; Tess McEnery, democracy specialist for USAID's Elections and Political Transitions Team; Gregory Simpkins, professional staff member for the U.S. House Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health and Human Rights; and Frances Fortune (moderator), director of Search for Common Ground's Africa Program, participated in a panel discussion of "Conflict & Prevention Resolution: Elections in Post-Conflict Africa: A Look at Process and Impact" on Tuesday, June 10.
