2024 Commencement Awards
Members of the SAIS community were recognized during the commencement ceremony for their outstanding achievements.
Bonnie Wilson ’66, B’67, PhD ’71 was awarded the 2024 SAIS Founders Award. The award is given to individuals who provide extraordinary service to SAIS and who make significant contributions to the tradition of excellence at SAIS.
Guadalupe Paz, Administrative Director of Degree Programs in the Office of Academic Affairs, was the recipient of the 2024 Dean's Award for Exemplary Service in recognition of her tremendous efforts and dedication to SAIS for 30 years.
The Dean’s Hopkins Bloomberg Center Award for Outstanding Service, was awarded to Schuyler Asman, Senior Director of Finance and Administration at the Hopkins Bloomberg Center, and to Brittani Menina, SAIS’ Director of Events.
Stephen Richard Garrett, Nicky George Stevenson Maxwell, and Ruiqi Zeng received The Christian A. Herter Award for their distinguished academic performance as it is given to students with the highest GPA for the first three semesters. Gabriel Alain Delsol and Alexa Wehsener received The William C. Foster Award for sound scholarship and a record of leadership and distinguished service to SAIS.
In recognition of valuable contributions in teaching for the 2023-2024 academic year, students selected the following faculty members to receive Excellence in Teaching honors:
