Adjunct Professor of African Studies

About

Professor Gebremariam is an Adjunct Professor of African Studies at SAIS Europe. He is also a Research Associate in the Perivoli Africa Research Centre (PARC) of the School of Pulicy Studies at the University of Bristol. He holds a PhD in Development Policy and Management from the University of Manchester. His areas of interest and expertise include the politics of development, decolonizing development studies, Africa political economy, and young citizens’ engagement in politics. Before joining Perivoli Africa Research Centre (PARC) in the School of Polity Studies at the University of Bristol, Eyob was a Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Matasa Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex. He joins us as a Research Associate in PARC and the Africa Population and Health Research Centre (APHRC), where he is actively engaged in research to advance the development of regional and national policy processes, and the building of a framework of equitable partnership models, through the The Perivoli Charter.
