Class of 1996

Class of 1996 Campaign

To honor the 25th anniversary of our graduation from SAIS, we are aiming to raise $50,000 from our class-specific initiative. That’s an ambitious goal, but we know what our support can accomplish! Many of us benefited from financial aid fellowships established by alumni when we were students, and this is a great time to give back or pay forward.

Gifts of any size—and to any area across the three SAIS campuses—will count toward our class dollar goal. Not sure where to direct your support? Our class-specific initiatives support some of the School’s greatest needs:
  1. Propel Fellowships: Targeted fellowship support for SAIS to identify, attract, and retain the most academically competitive candidates from underrepresented populations. (A $5,000 award covers ~10% of tuition for one student)
  2. Fund for SAIS: Make the biggest impact — the Fund for SAIS serves as a critical source of funding for the university’s highest priorities. When your gift is designated to the Fund for SAIS, your support allows us to offer more fellowships, scholarships, and other financial aid or scholarship support for current students.
  3. Summer Internship Fund: Help SAIS provide financial assistance to students from any campus with unpaid, full-time summer internships in the public, multilateral, or nonprofit sectors. (Students receive a stipend starting at $1,500)
