10th reunion campaign: The 10th anniversary of our graduation is a time to celebrate and to reflect on what SAIS meant to us. To ensure that future SAISers have the opportunities we did, we are asking each classmate to make a gift to SAIS. Whether or not you are able to celebrate with us virtually this fall, we hope you are able to make a contribution, of whatever size, to Johns Hopkins SAIS! To honor the 10th anniversary of our graduation, we are aiming to have 110 of our classmates raise $20,000 to support the School’s greatest needs – from fellowships through the Class of 2010 Fund to summer internships and more. Thank you in advance for your support!

Greetings Class of 2010, LASPies, and SAIS-Wharton folks! Approaching our 10th Reunion, I am still living and working in DC, having now fully adopted this great city. My wife, Prudence, and I had our oldest daughter (now 10!) during my final semester of SAIS.
Since then, we've added two more--a boy, now 8, and a girl, 4 years old. I have successfully steered them all toward a love of soccer and fanaticism for Real Madrid. In fact, our two older kids trained at the Real Madrid facilities in Spain this past October and met Marcelo. I think my work on the parenting front is pretty much done. My current professional challenge is my biggest one yet: trying to get a small startup company off the ground! I am deeply committed to and excited about the mission, which serves as a great motivator each day. The ideas for my new venture came from, in part, my prior experience at the Treasury Department. I worked at Treasury for 5 fascinating years after graduating from SAIS, including two years living in the most underrated city on the planet: Mexico City. Reunion may not look the same this year, but I really look forward to reconnecting with many of you and catching up!
