Vali Nasr, SAIS dean, appeared on CNN International’s “Connect the World” for a segment on Syria.

Karim Mezran, adjunct professor of Middle East Studies at the SAIS Bologna Center, and Daniel Serwer, senior research professor in the Conflict Management Program, appeared on Voice of America’s “Middle East Voices” for a segment titled, “Quicktake: Libya Is Progressing, but Still Has Much to Learn.”

Peter Lewis, director of the African Studies Program, was quoted in a New York Times article titled, “U.S., Too, Wants to Bolster Investment in a Continent’s Economic Promise.”

Roger Leeds, senior research professor of International Finance, appeared on CNTV’s “Biz Asia America” (Interview begins at 10:00.)
